Gorman-Rupp has promoted Scott King to the position of Corporate Vice President effective April 1, 2017.

In this capacity, King will take on increased responsibilities for the corporation and will assist with management of the Pumps Group, which consists of Gorman-Rupp USA, Gorman-Rupp Canada, Gorman-Rupp Europe and Gorman-Rupp Africa.

King has 12 years of experience with Gorman-Rupp.  Most recently, he was serving as Vice President and General Manager of Gorman-Rupp USA.  Previous positions with the Company include Vice President of Operations, Director of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Manager.

King holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

King resides in Ontario, Ohio with his wife and children.  He is very active in the Richland County Community, is currently serving on the Executive Committee for the Regional Manufacturing Coalition, and was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association. In addition, he is on the Board of Directors for both the Rotary Club of Mansfield and the Mansfield Rotary Foundation.

Gorman-Rupp is also pleased to announce the promotion of D.J. Daniels to the position of General Manager of Gorman-Rupp USA effective April 1, 2017.  In this capacity, Daniels will manage the Mansfield operations.

Daniels has 10 year of experience with the company and has most recently served as Manufacturing Manager.  Previous positions include Supply Chain Scheduling Manager and Supply Chain Scheduler.  

Daniels received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Ohio University and a Masters in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Daniels resides in Bellville, Ohio with his wife and children.  He was a Leadership Unlimited 2015 graduate, and is currently serving on North Central State College’s IRT Advisory Board.
