As the COVID-19 crisis continues, we are still in a “Stay at Home” order by Governor DeWine for all Ohioans through May 1, 2020.  The Gorman-Rupp Company has been operating as an essential business to support critical water and wastewater treatment, emergency services such as flood mitigation and energy industry, as critical to the infrastructural industries defined by Homeland Security.

Gorman-Rupp continues to remain open and operating, with the highest priority given to the health and well-being of our employees.  We will continue to actively update our response as this situation evolves, and we are deeply committed to helping our employees, our channel partners and their families stay informed on ways to protect yourself physically and emotionally during this challenging time.

  • Exhibit social distancing – COVID-19 spreads through person to person contact, so keep your distance
  • Frequent hand washing – handwashing with soap for 2 minutes removes germs from hands and prevents the spread to others
  • Stay at home – staying at home reduces the spread of the virus
  • Protect yourself from cyber scams – with increased online activity brings out cyber scammers
  • Face masks – know when to wear them and how to care and clean them
  • Monitor your media intake – too much media can affect your peace of mind.  Manage the amount of time you are surfing
  • Managing anxiety during COVID-19 – there are resources available to manage the stress and anxiety resulting from COVID-19

As we continue to navigate through these challenging times, Gorman-Rupp is actively finding ways to support our channel partners and community.

  • Dropship fees – the drop ship fees will be waived for orders placed up to May 1, 2020
  • Staffing hours – you can reach a live individual from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and 24/7 for after-hour  emergencies
  • Employees volunteer – employees are volunteering at local food banks to help support those out of work
  • Donations – The Gorman-Rupp Company supports local agencies to help in relief efforts

Thank you for your continued support and trust in us, and we hope that you and your families remain healthy and safe.

We are in this together, and together we shall overcome.
