As the United States begins to transition back to full operation, Gorman-Rupp Pumps and its employees are prepared.

The safety and health of our employees and customers is our top priority, which is why we are taking extra precautionary measures when hosting customers on the G-R campus.

We would like to outline some measures as we restart factory trips.  Beginning July 1, we will begin hosting customers and factory trips at our two facilities in Mansfield, Ohio.  We will reopen the booking process for factory trips beginning on June 15.  Please continue to request your factory trip reservations with Desiree Davidson.  Please contact her via email at

We continue to be aware of specific travel restrictions in many geographic areas and continue to monitor local government directives that affect the areas you may be traveling from.  Under no circumstance do we wish to expose you, our customers, or G-R employees to COVID-19.

When traveling with us and visiting our facilities, the following guidelines or measures are in place or will be followed:

  • Prior to your visit to the Gorman-Rupp campus, pre-approval is required. During your visit (if approved), you will be required to adhere to our COVID-19 prevention process that is currently being followed by our employees and other visitors.
    • Face coverings are required at all times in our facilities, our aircraft, and G-R ground transportation vehicle
    • Maintain 6’ social distancing
    • Please refrain from shaking hands
  • Travelers are asked to self-assess prior to leaving home and boarding our aircraft.  Travelers who feel sick and exhibit symptoms should voluntarily refrain from visiting Gorman-Rupp until feeling better.
  • Our Aviation Team will greet travelers at the destination FBO, screen each traveler, and scan for elevated temperature.
  • Practice proper personal hygiene.  Hand sanitizer stations will be available during your visit.
  • Be aware of your particular state (or country) re-entry requirements.  Adhere to the self-quarantine mandates upon your return should your particular area require such action after returning from “out-of-state” or “out-of-country.”
  • During your visit with us, extra facemasks and hand sanitizer will be available in our facilities and aboard our aircraft.
  • Our aircraft, G-R van, G-R facilities, and overnight accommodations (if required) are in strict compliance with CDC COVID-19 disinfecting requirements.

The global response to the COVID-19 outbreak is a fluid event with preventive measures and defensive directives changing daily depending on the various parts of the world.  We are staying informed of federal, state, and local regulations regarding the prevention of this disease.  Should any of your local directives conflict with the initiatives outlined above, please adhere to your local regulations and contact us for further guidance, direction, or modification of your visit with us.

The health and safety of our visitors and employees is our #1 concern and trust that you will follow the aforementioned guidelines in order to put this pandemic behind us.

We look forward to seeing you soon at Gorman-Rupp Pumps.

Thank you,

Sales Management Team
